The first collection of w/trem tunes. Many of these were constructed using ModTracker and a variety of shareware applications I'm ashamed to admit I never paid for. The low(-ish) tech approach, combined with the fact that I was doing much of this (drum programming, for instance) for the first time, made for some interesting sounds.

The tremelo effect, used pervasively, was actually added to recorded guitar parts using a sinewave function applied to the volume in Goldwave (frequencies calculated by hand...). A neat trick I discovered fairly early on was to record two separate parts with out-of-phase tremeloes, one low-pass filtered and one high-pass filtered so that the lower and upper frequency ranges wobbled in and out of sync. This effect is particularly prominent in 1D Acceleration and Looking for a Hole....
