Times change. It would be interesting to re-read some NME/Melody Maker reviews of records by Ned’s Atomic Dustbin (I saw them live, they had two bassists, they were quite good) and Kingmaker (er…), just to rub it in. Senseless Things! I’ve still got a CD single of theirs somewhere.

Worrying true fact: I’ve seen (and sussed) Back To The Planet more times than any other single band, and every single time I thought they were great.
