I think this is a bit much, though:

I’m sure I’m not the first to observe that Zizek has turned into the deceased Marshall McLuhan character in Videodrome, whose television appearances are spliced together from multiple pre-recorded tapes giving his cookie-cutter responses to a variety of cultural stimuli. But this poses three additional questions: When exactly did Zizek die, what did he die of, and who’s doing the splicing?
